Rising: A Look at the Effects of Global Warming Through Art

Join DOROT as they sit down with artist and activist Todd Drake and learn about his newest series Rising. Rising is an exhibition of new prints and drawings connecting through lines between climate change, loss and celebration. These drawings, lino-prints, and silk screens, break open the dams of worry that freeze us around the subject of climate change. Old soul whales, surreal duck hunters, swimming deer, osprey, and wild boar are only part of this rollicking visual vocabulary that call attention to what we risk loosing to rising tides. A concern for ecological collapse is met in this show with persistent hope and a call to meet these rising tides with action and understanding.
