With Linda Cholodenko. There’s a saying in musical theatre that “when words no longer suffice, then they must be sung. When emotions can no longer be expressed through singing, then it is time to dance.” Immerse yourself in one of the few genuine American art forms—musical theatre. In this course, led by a former Broadway dancer, choreographer, and teacher, participants will break down a musical theatre production number into separate components. Participants will be given a short scene, a song, and some simple choreography. As a special treat, a Tony Award–winning producer will join during the last session to share fun theatre stories. A great course for your body, mind, and spirit. All are welcome. Zoom links will be sent with your confirmation email.
