Tali Farhadian Weinstein is a prosecutor, a professor, and a criminal justice reformer. An immigrant, Tali came to America in 1979 as a child, having fled the violence and anti-Semitism of revolutionary Iran. In 2020, Tali was appointed to the New York Stat Bar Association’s Task Force on Domestic Terrorism and Hate Crimes, a group of leaders of the bench and bar whose mission is to examine the factors that have led to the recent increase in hate crimes and help better educate the public on the value of diversity and inclusion. Join DOROT when Tali shares both her personal story and addresses the rise of hate crimes in New York City.
