Join us on a trip to The Metropolitan Opera to see the contemporary opera, Dead Man Walking inspired by the memoir and film, composed by Jake Heggie with a libretto by Terrance McNally. The powerful music and thought-provoking narrative captivates audiences and challenges their beliefs about crime, punishment, redemption, and forgiveness.

Prior to the performance, attendees are invited to a pre-opera lecture at SJJCC. Cost includes the pre-opera lecture, meet and greet with a star of the opera following the performance, and transportation.
